This is too funny, especially in a job where seriousness is more of the norm.

The Bath Township Police Department posted to their Facebook page Monday and the new idea they have to try to connect with all residents in their community.

In the post, they about how they do a great job of connecting their community through their Facebook page, but want to try to “bridge the gap” with the younger part of their community.

So what idea did they come up with?

So in an effort to bridge that gap, we've decided to update our patrol car graphics in an attempt to be more relatable to the local youths.

Even as the police department notes in the comments because surprisingly (I said sarcastically), people are upset that the police would “dumb down” their efforts with a simple joke. (REALLY?!)

We we're making a joke

If you do have a sense of humor, I’d suggest following the Bath Township Police Department Facebook page, they have quite the sense of humor, given the info they need to share.
