May 22nd through May 26th, Grand Rapids welcomes the Addams.  They're moving in for a weeks run at DeVos Performance Hall as Broadway Grand Rapids closes out their season.

Meghan Distel, from Broadway Grand Rapids, visited "Andy In The Morning" Wednesday and announced some wonderful specials for the Memorial Day week and weekend show.

First of all, BWGR is assisting two local causes by donating a portion of the proceeds of ticket sales over the Memorial Day weekend.

Also, you'll be able to enjoy the show at a lower price.  For every main floor or mezzanine ticket purchased for the performances on Friday, May 25, and Saturday, May 26, Broadway Grand Rapids is donating $10 to be shared between the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans and Sophia's House.

Main floor seats will be $50 (down from $69.50) and mezzanine seats will be $40 (down from $59.50)

The Grand Rapids Home for Veterans plans on using their funds to restore grave markers in its cemetery. More than 5,000 veterans are laid to rest there, and the site is used for special ceremonies to honor military personnel.

Sophia’s House opens June 4 as a home away from home for families of patients who have traveled to Saint Mary’s Health Care for treatment. While loved ones are being cared for at the hospital, family members can recharge in the home-like environment Sophia’s House provides, instead of having to spend hours in a hospital room.

Get your tickets while they're hot.  Tickets are available Broadway Grand Rapids at 616-235-6285 or ticketmaster.com (1-800-745-3000).
