Birgit Klohs to Retire From The Right Place

The new base will house two Airbus-series aircraft which brings the flexibility to add additional routes in the future.

The jobs are spread over four West Michigan companies which are all expanding their operations.

The new 73,000 sq. ft. facility will be located at 601 Maryland Ave. NW in Grand Rapids.

More good news for Grand Rapids and West Michigan. At least 26 high-tech manufacturing jobs will be coming to the Grand Rapids area this year. Italian-based Siliconature Corporation will establish the company’s first North American manufacturing facility at 4495 68th Street SE,  in Kentwood.

NVINT, a Caledonia-based company, is set to invest $364,000 and add at least 26 computer engineering and computer programming jobs.

On Wednesday, The Right Place and the City of Grand Rapids announced the approval of an incentive that will bring 37 new high-tech, life science jobs and $2.8 million in new investment to Grand Rapids over the next three years.

A California-based company is set to expand to Kentwood with a $4.2 million investment that will bring 73 new jobs over the next three years.

The Right Place has announced that Notions Marketing will expand in Grand Rapids, investing $33 million and creating 250 new jobs.
