An earthquake centered 33 miles from Detroit recorded a 2.6 on the Richter scale.

It's been a couple of years since Michigan experienced an earthquake, but a mining explosion on Drummond Island came close. The explosion registered 2.7 on the Richter scale.

Just before 8am this morning an Earthquake hit about 50 miles from Indianapolis.  One woman said she heard something but thought it was her children running into walls.  No damage reported as of yet but is expected closer to the epicenter...
