We all need a pool day every once in a while-- even our four-legged friends! The city of Grand Rapids is hosting "Wag 'n' Wade", a free dog swim event at Richmond Pool August 27.

It's summer!  With summer comes the opening of three public pools in Grand Rapids!

Our heatwave has Lake Michigan water temperatures in the mid-70s at most locations.  That's great for swimming.  Some backyard pools are MUCH warmer.  Maybe even a little too warm. How warm is your swimming pool?

Grand Rapids splash pads opened for summer a couple of weeks ago.  Now, we have more options to cool down in Grand Rapids.  Today, three Grand Rapids city pools have opened for summer.
