Today in West Grand Rapids, hundreds of Amway volunteers converged on Steepletown Preschool to help construct a new playground for the kids! They turned the undeveloped lot at the corner of Fifth and Muskegon NW into a family-friendly safe play space.
A new playground is set to be built on the west side of Grand Rapids on June 16. The playground is coming to the site of the former Pulaski Park. Volunteers are needed to help build the park and donations are needed to build a trail.
More than 300 volunteers from Amway, Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative (ELNC), organizers from KaBOOM! and residents of the Grand Rapids community will join forces on Friday, June 12, to give area kids the childhood they deserve by building a new playground at ELNC.
Okay, this is too cute to pass up.
