In a social media announcement this week, a group of four restaurants/breweries located on Leonard St. in Grand Rapids announced that they would raise the minimum wage for staffers to $15 an hour.

A new creation of Beer City USA is now available that's not only delicious, but it helps support a great cause, mental health. Mitten Brewing Co. company announced that as of today, "Things We Don't Say IPA" will be available on tap at Mitten Brewing.

In recent decades, breweries have sprung up all over America – in towns big and small – evolving the art and science of brewing while enhancing the city’s livability. With this in mind, Livability.com has named Grand Rapids a Best Beer City, 2014.

Most of us are aware of the Robin Roberts story.  Robin, co-host of ABC TV's Good Morning America, found out, several months ago, that she was suffering from a serious illness and would need a bone marrow transplant to save her life.  That is tough news to get.  But Robin attacked it, and she and her doctors searched for a donor.  It needed to be a perfect match and they found one...her sister.  H
