We knew it as the Chic University of Cosmetology and it was a part of this community for many years. What ever happened to it?

It's the first official weekend of summer! We have a lot of concerts on the list this weekend. Also a couple of activities you could do with the dog. There is Running, Beer, BBQ, Bourbon, Water, Guns, Knives, and Baseball. I'd say there is something on the schedule for just about everybody!

The 39th Annual Huntington Reeds Lake Run is approaching fast, next weekend, actually. Thousands of runners, walkers handcyclists, wheelchair racers and dog walkers, yes, I said dog walkers, will test themselves on the banks of Reeds Lake, next Saturday, June 24.

Today is the final day you can make a donation to the official fund set up for the families of victims in last week's mass murder. WZZM TV13 reports Huntington Bank set up the fund on Friday and seeded it with an initial $10,000 donation.  All day Tuesday you can make a donation at any West Michigan Huntington Bank branch.
