The winners of ArtPrize Seven were announced tonight at The Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. Two $200,000 Grand Prizes were awarded. The Public Vote winner was Loveless PhotoFiber's "Northwood Awaking." The Jury Award winner is Kate Gilmore's "Higher Ground."

The White House announced that President Barack Obama will be visiting Michigan this week. Obama will be visiting the Ford Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne when he visits Wednesday.

Ford Motors says they are recalling 850,000 cars because of the risk of a short circuit that could prevent the air bag from deploying in the event of a crash. Thus far, they are not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the problem.

Attention folks who drive Ford vehicles - Ford is recalling nearly 435,000 cars to fix rusting frame parts or faulty seats.
