There is still so much left of an exciting season of top Broadway shows coming to Grand Rapids, such as Phantom and The Book of Mormon, that you're left wondering how is Broadway Grand Rapids going to top this season.  Suddenly they announce next seasons shows, and your saying, WOW! They've done it again.

Social media success of NBC’s live musicals (not to mention the actual success of The Wiz) already goaded FOX into Grease and Rocky Horror remakes, and now ABC has its own baby no one’s putting in a corner. Dirty Dancing will get the three-hour musical treatment, starring Scream Queens alum Abigail Breslin to boot.
