Can you even imagine mourning the death of your newborn baby and 12 hours later visiting the morgue one last time with your husband to say goodbye; only to discover that there was a mistake, and your baby was very much alive! That's what happened to a couple in Argentina after the hospital staff had declared the baby dead...

I read this headline and thought, "This sounds like some kind of nightmare!"  I was right it is a nightmare but it really happened right here in Grand Rapids.  How do you explain this to a child as she begins to develop and realizes what has happened to her?  What is happening in this world of ours?  Is everything just going to hell?  It sure looks and sounds like it to me.

This video made me cry happy tears first thing on a Monday morning.  To see this little baby's facial expression and demeanor change at the sound of his mother's voice is the most beautiful thing to see.  This 8 month old baby was born deaf, watch the moment as his cochlear implant is activated and he hears sound for the first time.
