Another great year of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids has concluded. Some of this year's artists and entries will be remembered for years to come, just like we remember Adonna Khare's "Elephants" from 2012.

Adonna Khare won ArtPrize 2012 with "Elephants", a 36 x 8 foot pencil drawing. This Friday and Saturday, Khare will be sharing her skills as she hosts a drawing workshop at GRAM.

Adonna Khare took home $200,000 as the winner of the public vote of ArtPrize 2012. Her large drawing "Elephants" was on display at the Grand Rapids Art Museum during ArtPrize 2012. Fans now have an opportunity to purchase one of her works in a charity auction.

Adonna Khare won the Public Vote Award of ArtPrize 2012. She took home $200,000 for her first place finish and has enjoyed growing popularity since the competition. Now, Khare's fans have something new to look forward to. Khare has announced she is working on a book.
