Here's a fact...I love hamburgers, one of my favorite meals.  Some of the best burgers I've had are right here in Grand Rapids area restaurants.  I consider myself some-what of an expert.  HA!  Okay, seriously, I do know what I like and have found some winners.

The Choo-choo Grill's cheese burger is a real winner.  The Schnitz Ada Grill's black and blue burger is one of my favorites, and of course, the Cottage Burger is a true winner.  I haven't mentioned the 5th/3rd Burger and 5th/3rd Ball Park, but that's because I haven't tried that one yet.  I couldn't eat it all so I'd need to bring a posse with me.  Now, that burger, I thought, was the biggest in Michigan.  But, a Detroit-area restaurant has proven me wrong.

The Detroit News reports that Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar in Southgate made a 338-pound "Absolutely Ridiculous Burger" last Thursday. Needless to say there was crowd.  The massive burger is a mere $2,000 menu item.

Try to eat this thing.  It's 3-foot-high, packs 540,000 calories and takes 22 hours to cook.   Okay, do you want fries with that?   It comes with fries and a drink.

Could anyone possibly eat this thing?    Check out the Travel Channel's  'Man vs. Food.'  It's amazing.
