I can't believe it, but St. Patrick's Day is almost here, just four weeks away.

It's always an excuse for everyone to become Irish, turn green, and partly hardy!

Where's all the fun?  Try Downtown Grand Rapids, and "Irish on Ionia," Michigan's largest  St. Patrick's Day celebration.

You have to have a ticket to go, and they went on sale this past Saturday, February 16.  You can still buy them at McFadden's Irish Saloon, HopCat, Stella's Lounge, and Grand Rapids Brewing Company. Tickets are $10 in advance ($15 at the gate if still available).

Official Irish on Ionia 2013 t-shirts will be available for $10 at these locations. Tickets are also on sale online at TicketWeb.com (additional TicketWeb service charge will apply).

Last year, advance tickets sold out and organizers expect the same thing to happen this year. In fact, they turned away more than 2,000 people at the gates because they were at capacity. If you plan to go, please don't wait to get your tickets.  They don't want to have   to turn people away at the gate.

Ticket prices are as follows:
o $10 – presale general admission ($15 at the gate, if available)
o $55 – Very Irish Person (VIP) package (very limited quantities available) includes:
- Very Irish Person T-shirt
- 22oz Irish on Ionia mug
- Come and go as you please without standing in line
