St. Cecilia Music Center Hosting Fabulous Wine Tasting Benefit May 1st

All of West Michigan is invited to one of the best wine tastings of the year at St. Cecilia Music Center on Friday, May 1st starting at 5:30 p.m.

The evening will be in the elegant atmosphere of St. Cecilia Music Center with over 100 highly rated wines from well-known and boutique wineries throughout the world available for tasting. The wines to be tasted will be from a wide range of price points including high-end wine selections. Some of the wines to be featured are specific to the event and are only available through special order at the event. The event will also include hearty hors d’oeuvres from Catering by Martha’s and Nantucket Baking Company. Live music will be presented by the Charlie Royce jazz combo.

Wineries to be showcased include: Conn Valley Vineyards Rubicon Cask; Ferrari Carano; Neil Ellis, Stag’s Leap Cellars, Forman; E. Guigal Chalone; Shafer; D’Arenberg; Honig; Sebastiani; Castello D’ Monastero; Pio Cesare; Nicolas Catena; Fisher; Girard; Frank Family; Regusci; and many more!

In addition to tasting wine and food, there will be a silent auction with items featuring dining, entertainment, vacation packages, and specialty wines donated by Martha’s Vineyard and Grand Rapids wine collectors. Some of the auction items include a vacation package for a New Orleans jazz and dinner trip, a wine tasting trip to Napa, concert tickets to Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga in New York, a Bourbon trail tour in Kentucky. Other items available are autographed instruments and albums with certificates of authenticity by world-famous artists including Bruce Springsteen and BB King. Local entertainment packages include dining, concert and theater tickets as well as retail offerings. $35 event tickets and auction registration are now available online at www.scmc-online.org. Bidding is available beginning on April 24 through the night of the event on May 1st.
