Saturday Night LIVE’s Martin Short Performs March 17th At Laughfest 2012!
Sure I remember Martin Short for all the voices he did, and the Second City Comedy Troupe, and Saturday Night Live. I remember Martin Short mostly for doing a great Katherine Hepburn impersonation! You may remember him most for his character Ed Grimley and those really high pants. My old boyfriend would laugh so hard at another of his characters, Jiminy Glick! The list just goes on and on and on.
Martin Short is a multifaceted, multi talented performer. He has ventured, quite successfully, into television, film and stage. And little did I know his wife of 30 years, Nancy, reportedly died from cancer just last year. This may be his reason for joining us for Laughfest 2012. Cancer really does touch so many people; people we know personally, and people we have never met.
Recently he spoke with WOOD TV 8 about Gilda Radner, the importance of laughter and one of my past favorites, John Candy.
