Sales Are Down, Women Blamed

Well this is an interesting strategy. The bride above doesn't appear impressed, either.

You've heard of Men's Wearhouse, right?  If nothing else, you probably heard their commercials with the guy saying "you're gonna like the way you look. I guarantee it."  That guy was the Founder and CEO.  He was fired earlier this year because of poor sales.

Problem is, sales didn't turn around.  They continued to go down. What did the new CEO blame?  Women.  No, seriously. He says that superstitious women are afraid to get married this year because it's 2013 and they're afraid of the number 13.

No, seriously.

"We believe that the number 13 in 2013 is causing a small, but meaningful number of brides to avoid getting married this year," Ewert said on a call with analysts Thursday,
