Rockford Parties With Start Of Summer Celebration

Today is the last day of school in Rockford and the community is ready for its Start of Summer Celebration.  Thousands of visitors are expected in downtown Rockford today through Sunday.  There will be rides, food, games and lots of family friendly activities.

Jeannie Gregory  with the Rockford Chamber of Commerce told WZZM TV13, "It's just a lot of fun.  Really geared for family and what a great way to start the summer.  School's closed, a great way to celebrate the beginning of the summer season."
