Ripley’s Believe it or Not Buys ArtPrize Art

A week or so ago I wrote a blog about Ripley's Believe it or Not visiting ArtPrize and looking for the unusual pieces of art that might fit with their museums around the world.

The follow-up to that blog is that this was a bonanza year for Ripley's.  They did buy art from some of the artists in ArtPrize.  As a matter of fact, more than ever before.  Now the exhibits purchased are now the property of Ripley's Believe it or Not.

Our news partner, WZZM 13 News, caught up with the movers who are shipping the art to the Ripley's warehouse in Orlando, Florida.

Edward Meyer, the Ripley's buyer, is vice president of exhibits for Ripley's Entertainment. After the art arrives in Florida, it will be distributed to museums across the globe.
