Broadway Grand Rapids is bringing "Rain" back to DeVos Performance Hall this month.  I saw it when it was here for a full run and it was spectacular.  This time, it's here for one-night only.  Too bad, but, with only one show you shouldn't miss it.

"Rain" is as close to the real deal as you can get.  It's an impressive level of perfection.  “Rain” members pride themselves on fussy attention to details, sounding astonishingly like John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr sounded. Note for note, through “Let it Be,” “Twist and Shout,” “Come Together,” “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band,” "Hey Jude," and many more.

Originally, Rain's early members were recruited by Dick Clark for his 1979 film, "Birth of The Beatles." His goal was for the band to be as realistic as possible.  He sure pulled it off.

It doesn't matter your age, 6 to 60 and beyond, everybody has a blast
