Police are on the hunt for two more people that are suspected to be involved in a barrage of arsons that have been happening near the Mecosta-Montcalm county line.

According to WOOD TV, Michigan State Police have the suspects names but are not releasing them at this time. One suspect is an 18-year-old female from Morley, the other a 20-year-old from Howard City.

A third suspect who is a 32-year-old man from Howard City was arrested Monday by the Mecosta County Sheriff Department.

Michigan State Police say all three suspects are allegedly involved in four different arsons and the breaking and entering of a residence on Monday.

State Police think that the events began 4 a.m. Monday when the three suspects drove to a variety of locations and started fires in 3 barns and one vacant mobile home. No people were injured but some animals were killed in the fires.

The trio also attempted a break in to a house that was occupied but the owner woke up and chased them off.

Police are still investigating the arsons and attempted breaking and entering.
