Planters Peanut Recall

Here at The River, we're always looking out for things that will help you keep the family safe and healthy. Seems like there are a lot of recalls lately, and here's another one:

Kraft is recalling a batch of PLANTERS cocktail peanuts. Apparently the peanuts were exposed to water that wasn't supposed to be used in food.

Only ONE group of 12oz canisters was affected - with the code date 09-Jan-14 and UPC 2900007212. You can find the code date on the bottom of the canister.

No illness or medical problems have been reported, but the recall is being done out of a lot of caution. If you have canisters with the above code date, do not eat them; return them to the store for exchange or refund.
