Pier Breaks As Prom Pictures Are Taken

The past week or so, we've been talking about West Michigan high school prom season. Every weekend, it seems you can turn anywhere in downtown GR without seeing throngs of high school students dressed in their formal wear for prom night. Last week, Andy Rent even posted a story about a dress made of pop can tabs.

Well, here's another prom story!

If you have a lake nearby, why not use it as a backdrop for a fantastic prom picture?  You get the kids there, have them stand on the pier and prepare to snap the pictures.  Only to have the pier collapse.
