Paralyzed Woman Walks Down The Aisle With Her Dad At Her Wedding [Video]

27-year-old Gina Giaffoglione of McClelland, Iowa was in a car crash six years ago, and ended has been paralyzed from the bellybutton down ever since.

After her boyfriend proposed to her in 2012, she decided she wanted to walk down the aisle with her dad, Gary, at her wedding. That doesn't mean she expected to recover from her injury, though .She was just determined to make it happen.

After a year-and-a-half of physical therapy to build up her core muscles, Gina was able to walk with braces on her legs, a crutch in one hand, and her dad holding onto her other arm all while she wearing a wedding dress with a full train.

Only her close friends and family knew what she was planning to do, so most of her wedding guests had no idea what was going to happen until it did.

According to Gina, she did all of this for her dad, because she's his only daughter, and she wanted him to be able to walk her down the aisle, not push her in a wheelchair.
