A weekend full of activities for Jeep lovers will be highlighted by the fourth annual Jeep the Mac parade as hundreds of Jeeps cross Mackinac Bridge.

The St. Ignace Visitors Bureau says this year’s crossing of the Mackinac Bridge will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, April 26, in St. Ignace. Jeeps will cross the bridge and head into Mackinaw City before looping around to return to the Upper Peninsula. About 800 Jeeps participated in last year's Jeep the Mac parade.

The weekend will also include live music, food, drinks, trail riding on Drummond Island, a mud bog and an adventure race.

Prizes will be awarded to Jeeps deemed the Most Patriotic, Most Creative, Farthest Traveled, Biggest Lift, and Most Abused Jeep.
