The popular chain restaurant P.F. Chang’s China Bistro (with one location here in Grand Rapids on the East Beltline) is investigating a possible data breach that may have impacted customers across the nation.

USA Today reports that the first report of this breach came from a cyber security blogger named Brian Krebs. Krebs is also the man who uncovered the data breach at Target stores.

Data from thousands of credit and debit cards that were used at P.F. Chang's went up for sale on an underground store that also sold information from the Target data breach. The cards were used from March to May 19 of this year.

A spokesperson for P.F. Chang's said on Wednesday that they take these matters very seriously and they are investigating, and working with authorities to learn more. She also said that the restaurant would provide an update when more information is available.
