Since Sunday morning, about 110,000 Consumers Energy customers in Michigan have lost power due to high winds. As of Monday morning, Consumers Energy reports that over 50,000 remain without power in Michigan.

The Consumers Energy outage map shows power outages are the heaviest northwest of Kalamazoo, but outages are distributed across the entire state.

Over 1,600 people are working to restore power including crews from Indiana, Kentucky and Oklahoma.

Consumers Energy expects to restore power to most customers by 11:30 p.m. tonight while it may take into Tuesday evening to finish work in the hardest hit areas.
