How many times have we heard of very talented athletes say they are hoping to land a spot on the Senior PGA Tour. Pro football, hockey and baseball players have mentioned it. Really, how hard can it be. Courses are set up a little easier than the PGA Tour. Most of these pro athletes can really bomb it, too. Funny. None of them make the cut. Even the best club pros rarely make the cut. As the slogan goes, "these guys are good." By the way, count former baseball pitcher John Smoltz among those who missed the cut
