New Business Project to Help Rebuild GR’s Westside

A new building that is being called the "gateway" project that is coming to West Grand Rapids in early 2020.

According to WZZM, $5 million dollars is going into a project on the corner of Leonard Street and Broadway Avenue to help boost business on GR's west side. This will be the first of other projects to come in order to revitalize this particular business corridor.

Grand Rapids First Ward City Commissioner, Kurt Reppart said, "I look at this project as helping launch Grand Rapids' next dynamic corridor to the northwest of downtown."

The plan is to break ground in early 2020 with a collaborative effort to increase next generation investing in West Grand Rapids.

Paradigm Design will be the buildings first tenant with others to follow.
