Mother's Day is next Sunday, May 8, so it's only right that you check out a Mother's Day movie before next Sunday. So, how about the movie, Mother's Day, which opened at theaters in town yesterday, and looks like it should be a lot of fun.

The intertwining stories revolve around a television host, a divorcee looking for love and a woman who wants to strengthen her relationship with her mother, starring Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Julia Roberts, Britt Robertson, Jason Sudeikis, Jon Lovitz. Take a look at the preview.

It was directed by Garry Marshall, who also has made so many movies, Pretty Woman for example, the ensemble romantic comedies Valentine's Day (2010) and New Year's Eve (2011), and countless TV shows.

Here's an interesting bit of trivia for you about the movie. Though they share a scene together, Jennifer Aniston and Julia Roberts never met during filming. Stand-ins were used to shoot the scene. Could have fooled me!
