Our good friends at WalletHub.com have some bad news for Michiganders, again.  They released their list of 2019's Hardest-Working States in America and Michigan is, once again, one of the least hard-working states.

So, last year, we were ranked #1.  That's right, Michigan was THE LEAST hard-working state in America.  But, not anymore!  We are now the 4th least hard-working state in the country!  Yay!

The findings from WalletHub were based on statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and many other sources.

5 Hardest-Working States

  1. North Dakota
  2. Alaska
  3. South Dakota
  4. Texas
  5. Nebraska

5 Least Hard-Working States

  1. West Virginia
  2. Rhode Island
  3. New Mexico
  4. Michigan
  5. Ohio

Here is the complete map, with rankings, so you can see which states are lazy and which are working their butts off!
