Valentine's Day is right around the corner and that means it's time to make sure you score that date for the "most romantic" holiday of the year!  And to help you with that search, WalletHub.com has released their rankings of the best and worst states for singles.

As it turns out, the midwest is a gold mine for singles!  In the 10 best states for singles, 4 are from the midwest and only a single state from the midwest is in the 10 worst states for singles.

Michigan ranks as the 10th best state for singles, right above Arizona (coming in at #11).  Michigan had high marks in dating opportunities and romance & fun, specifically in male to female ratios, with 97 males to every 100 females.
