Mackinac Island Unveils Artsy Ambulance
One doesn't normally think of ambulances as being cute or adorable, but that's all about to change.
The Mackinac Island Emergency Medical Service unveiled a sneak peek at its new ambulance over the weekend, and all I can say is that if I ever need an ambulance, this is the one I want delivering me to the morgue.
(Oops! Sorry to be so morbid, but I engage in a lot of dangerous stupid stuff.)
In addition to a faux distressed back end (why? I don't know), the meat wagon (excuse my old school lingo) features local fauna, a view of the Mackinac Bridge on the door, and a tree blooming in spring. How delightful!
It sure beat that old school red ambulance in the background, does it not?
Nice air brush work, guys!
