Local Group Meets for Lunch — and Leaves a $1,500 Tip!

It's been a monthly occurrence for most of 2022 and it is something we hope continues for a long time. A group of individuals get together for lunch and then leave their server with a very large tip!

It's called "Generosity Lunch"

This is how it works: Everyone in the group brings $100 with them. That money is collected before the lunch. For the next hour or so the group enjoy meeting new friends and spending time with some people they may have met before. After lunch, the bill is paid for out of the money that was collected earlier. The remaining cash is given to the server as a tip. For the last couple of months, a generous sponsor has picked up the lunch bill, so ALL of the money collected could be given to the waiter or waitress for a tip.

This month the group met at Vitale's Pizza of Ada on Wednesday, September 21st. A total of 15 people attended the lunch and brought their $100. Sytsma Construction LLC sponsored and paid for the entire lunch, so at the end of the meal the entire $1,5000 that was collected was presented to the waitress!
