This morning on the show, I was honored to be able to interview music legend Barry Manilow.

I've always known him as a consummate professional and entertainer, and was thrilled to talk to him more about his career.

He claims that he's just lucky that he learned "how to entertain an audience."

He never even wanted to be an entertainer. Nope, he wanted to be an arranger and composer.

He says that becoming the entertainer that he is now is completely due to on-the-job training. Prior to becoming a singer and entertainer, he wrote commercials for companies such as McDonald's and State Farm ("like a good neighbor, State Farm is there!")
