LaughFest to Attempt World Record for Most People Wearing Paper Crowns

On March 5, LaughFest will once again look to make history.

LaughFest will attempt to set a world record for most people wearing paper crowns at one time.

The current record for most people wearing paper crowns is 1,324. It was set on July 22, 2014, at Sathya Diabetic Centre, at Kanchipuram, in Tamilnadu, India.

LaughFest will attempt to break the record at the LaughFest Community Kickoff on March 5. Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. at Rosa Parks Circle in Grand Rapids. There will be a program at 6:30 p.m. and the attempt to break the record is at 6:45 p.m.

The first 1,500 people will receive a paper crown and commemorative button.

Hand warmers and hot chocolate will also be available.
