St. Cecilia Music Center just announced their 2017 / 2018 concert season, and they're bringing the best with the best with concerts featuring the best musicians in chamber, jazz and folk music.

St. Cecilia is so excited that legendary singer/songwriter Judy Collins will make her first appearance at SCMC next year, February 1, 2018, and Leo Kottke, will return by popular demand on October 26, 2017.

The Acoustic Café Series in partnership with the syndicated radio show of the same name and its host Rob Reinhart, will bring these two legends of folk to the 2017/2018 season, with additional concerts to be announced later in the year.

The outstanding Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will be performing three times during the season with CMS Artistic Directors Wu Han and David Finckel featured in two of the three concerts. Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center performances include the works of Mozart, Brahms, Dvořák, and Beethovan on November 2, 2017, January 18, 2018, and April 19, 2018.

But wait, there's more. The 11th season of SCMC’s Jazz Series, brings back some favorites from the previous 10 years. This special season will feature four concerts with the best jazz artists on the world stage.

GRAMMY-winning bassist Christian McBride will perform on November 16, 2017; Contemporary Jazz pianist Brad Mehldau will appear on November 30, 2017; GRAMMY-winning vocalist Gregory Porter will perform on February 22, 2018; and multi-GRAMMY nominated baritone vocalist Kurt Elling will appear on March 22, 2018.

Single tickets are also available at this time. A post-party in included with every ticket where patrons are able to meet the artists and obtain signed CDs of their music.
