This turned out to be a busy time of year for me. Last weekend it was the Autism Support of Kent County Walkathon, this Saturday morning I will meet up with all of you at Rosa Parks Circle for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, and this Thursday night I will be hosting ArtFeast3 with Steve Groenink, at the Thousand Oaks Golf Club, in the Grand Oaks Ballroom! It's all to benefit H.I.S, Health Intervention Services, right here in Grand Rapids.

You may have never heard of H.I.S before unless there comes a day when you desperately need medical attention and you find yourself with no insurance and no money. H.I.S is a faith based, non-profit health clinic that provides medical, dental, counseling,medication assistance, optical, and spiritual care to the uninsured, working poor, in the greater Grand Rapids area.

Operating as a non-profit, they rely on support from the community that comes from fun events and benefits, just like this one!
