The Grand Rapids Santa Parade has been a tradition for years!

Now, unfortunately, it has come to an end.

The Grand Rapids Junior Chamber officially announced that they are canceling the Santa Parade that was slated to happen in November of this year.

Why Did They Cancel?

Well the reason for canceling the annual holiday parade is due to

recent unplanned leadership changeover and chapter capacity constraints.

Well, that is a good reason but yet still devastating.

In a statement from Grand Rapids Junior Chamber President Brandon Diller, he shared that he understands the city will be disappointed by the announcement.

We understand the disappointment this news may bring to the residents of Grand Rapids, as well as the excitement and anticipation that surrounds this annual event. Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and we are committed to returning with an even more memorable and festive Santa Parade.

At least it is not over for good right?
