9 Michigan Houseplants That Are Toxic to Cats

Did you know that many indoor plants in Michigan can make your cat sick? In some unfortunate cases, they can be downright deadly. Yup, those pretty greens might not be so friendly to your furry buddy.

If you have cats, there are certain plants that you shouldn't bring into your home. If you do, make sure to keep them out of reach of your feline friend.

Some plants are absolutely beautiful but extremely toxic to cats, dogs, and even humans if ingested.

Some people, including myself, had to learn the dangers of houseplants the hard way. I had a beautiful Bengal cat named Lincoln that passed away after chewing and ingesting Pothos (Epipremnum aureum). At the time, I had no idea the plant was toxic and never even considered that his symptoms were related to his constant chewing of the plant.
