They’re Grrrrrreat! WMU Hockey Gets Its Own Frosted Flakes Box After National Championship Win
It used to be a rite of passage to be on a box of cereal if you were a champion of any kind. So, what’s better than winning a national championship? Getting your own box of Frosted Flakes to celebrate it.
Western Michigan University is teaming up with Battle Creek-based Kellogg’s to honor the Broncos’ historic 2025 NCAA Men’s Hockey National Championship with a limited-edition commemorative Frosted Flakes box.
This one of a kind collector’s item features both mascots, (Tony the Tiger and Buster Bronco) front and center, proudly celebrating WMU Hockey’s big win.
While it looks like a classic cereal box on the outside, fans should know this is strictly a keepsake (there’s no actual cereal inside.) Still, it’s a sweet souvenir for Bronco fans, alumni, and anyone who loves a good Michigan-made collaboration.
The team announced the team-up last week on social media:
Priced at $20.25 (in a clever nod to the championship year), each box is a celebration in cardboard form.
If you want one, make sure you grab yours soon because there are only a limited number available. (So if you’re a die-hard Bronco or just love quirky sports memorabilia, you’ll want to grab one before they’re all gone.)

This tasty collab is extra special because it brings together two West Michigan icons: a powerhouse college hockey team and one of the most famous cereal companies in the world, both born right here in the Mitten State. And isn't that kinda sweet?
You can snag your commemorative box online through this website while supplies last.
