2026 Whitecaps Schedule Features Unique Themed Nights

It may still be dark and cold in West Michigan, but very soon the snow will melt away, and the sun will shine just in time for the West Michigan Whitecaps' 2026 season home opener on Tuesday, April 7.

The Whitecaps are coming off an incredible 2025 season, where the team won the Midwest League Championship.

Not only do the Whitecaps players excel on the field, but the organization also creates many fun events for fans to enjoy.

This year will be no different!

West Michigan Whitecaps 2026 Promotion Nights

The Whitecaps have released their 2026 promotions schedule, which is packed with fun nights that you won't want to miss.

Two new events have been added this year:

Toy Story Jersey Night - June 5
Peppa Pig Night - July 10

Bluey and Bingo will also be making a return on back-to-back nights, May 8 and May 9.

Other promotions for the season include:

May 10: Paint the Park Pink for breast cancer awareness
May 22: Princess & Pirates Night
May 24: Military Appreciation Night
June 2: The Whitecaps will honor Lou Gehrig Day and advocate for the fight against ALS. Prior to the game, they will partner with local communities and the ALS Association to raise awareness and support for those affected by ALS.
June 4: Pride Night
June 7: Las Calaveras de West Michigan, celebrating Latin culture and its influence.
June 16: 6-1-6 Night
July 7: Super Splash Day
July 11: Las Calaveras de West Michigan, celebrating Latin culture and its influence.
July 29: Grand Rapids Black Sox Night, honoring the Negro Leagues and their impact on the game of baseball.
August 12: Kids from Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital will take over the ballpark for "Kids Can Conquer."
August 14: Beer City Bung Hammers Night
August 16: Las Calaveras de West Michigan, celebrating Latin culture and its influence.
August 29: "If It Isn’t Neon, It Shouldn’t Be On" Night

2026 Whitecaps Bobblehead Giveaways

If you want to snag one of the bobbleheads this season, I recommend getting to the ballpark early, as there are only 1,000 giveaways per game.

Last year, I tried to get a Max Clark bobblehead and, even after arriving an hour before the gates opened, I was too late.
