What Michigan Congressional District Is Terri DeBoer Running For?
Terri DeBoer will be running as a Republican to represent Michigan’s 3rd Congressional District which is made up of metro Grand Rapids and most of Kent, Ottawa and Muskegon counties.
That seat is currently held by U.S. Rep. Hillary Scholten, who shook things up by winning the district in 2022.
Before her win, that district had been represented by Republicans going back to the 1990s.
Terri DeBoer will have about five months to campaign before Michigan’s primary on August 4. After that comes the general election on Nov. 3.
