What Is Heart Bypass Surgery
According to the Mayo Clinic, Coronary artery bypass surgery, also known as CABG or heart bypass surgery, is a procedure to improve blood flow to the heart muscle when coronary arteries become blocked or narrowed due to plaque buildup.
The surgery involves creating a new path for blood to flow around the blocked portion of the artery using a healthy blood vessel taken from another part of the body, typically the leg, arm, or chest.

When Will Robb Westaby Return To Fox 17
With the surgery scheduled for Friday, January 31st, Westaby will be off the air for at least several weeks as he rests and recovers.
