What Drugs Were Found
Last year, during an investigation, police found themselves at an address on 6 Mile Road NE near Pine Island Drive where a Mercedes Benz and two mopeds were parked.
Beneath the seats of the mopeds and inside the car, police found drug paraphernalia, weapons and drugs.
In total 5 pounds of methamphetamine, 1.7 pounds of fentanyl and at least 2.2 pounds of cocaine were found during the raid.
Kent County Prosecutor Chris Becker told News 8 that he is very happy with the drug bust because fentanyl and methamphetamine might be two of the most dangerous drugs that we see in Kent County.
“I’m glad we were able to get these drugs off the streets before they could get out into the public, And I’m very pleased that the defendant will serve time both in the state and federal system for his criminal activity."
