Michigan Graduate’s $110,000 Lottery Win Is the Ultimate Graduation Gift
A Michigan man recently had a very exciting day.

The 27-year-old from Oakland County graduated from college and cashed in a winning lottery ticket that he had been holding onto for months.
The man who chose to remain anonymous told the Michigan Lottery that he had a couple of extra bucks in his pocket so he bought a Fantasy 5 ticket.
A few days later, when he checked his ticket the man found out that he had won $110,000.
“When I won, I knew I would be graduating college the following spring, so I decided to wait to cash the ticket until then so I could use the money to pay off my tuition and have a fresh start after college. Although it was hard to wait, it’s been reassuring knowing I have a huge amount of money waiting for me."
I love that the man planned on using the money to pay off his student loans, but I can't stop freaking out thinking about how long he held on to the winning ticket.
If that had been me I would have made my way immediately to Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing to collect my money before I accidentally washed it or lost it.
This lucky Michigan man isn't the only person to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.
A man visiting Michigan from Maryland recently won $1,000,000 playing a Lucky Numbers instant win ticket.
A Bay County woman who had been playing Lotto 47 for 20 years with the same numbers hit it big and won $1.1 million.
And an Oakland County woman playing Fantasy 5 online accidentally selected a wrong number that resulted in her winning $250,000.
