A Little Girl Stole the Show at the Jonas Brothers’ Grand Rapids Concert

Friday night’s Jonas Brothers show at Van Andel Arena already had the energy you’d expect in Grand Rapids, but one tiny fan managed to completely steal the spotlight in the most wholesome way possible.

Midway through their show on December 12th, Joe spotted a little girl holding a bright pink sign and, like any performer who has spent time on the internet lately, he probably braced himself.

(After all, he’d spent the week being lovingly roasted online for a very public parallel parking struggle in New York City.)

He saw a sign that read “Joe, I need to tell you something", and that could have gone in a lot of directions. Thankfully, this one went straight to adorable.

Joe gave the girl a microphone and let her explain herself. She shared that she had traveled all the way from Indiana just to be at the Grand Rapids show, and the crowd cheered.

Then, after a brief pause that somehow made the entire arena lean in closer, she revealed what she’d come so far to say:

“Joe, I think you’re handsome.”

The crowd instantly erupted, because honestly, she just said out loud what thousands of people in Van Andel were already thinking. The difference was that she had the confidence, the sign, and the perfect timing to get a microphone and actually do it.

The moment has since gone viral online, and it’s easy to see why.

In a night filled with big hits and special appearances, the most memorable part was a small girl with a pink sign. You can see the video below
