Michigan Homeowner Shocked When Massive Ice Slab Knocks Out Power
It was just a typical Saturday morning at my house.

My wife, Lindsey, and I were slowly waking up and starting our day by letting the dogs out and feeding them.
The Winter Olympics were playing in the background while my wife made chocolate chip pancakes and brewed a pot of coffee.

The power immediately went out, and Lindsey and I ran to the front of the house to investigate what had happened.

The chunk of ice left our meter dangling from the side of the house.
We're currently sitting in our home, waiting for Consumers Energy to arrive and hopefully restore everything to normal.
I’m adding this to my long list of reasons I'm over winter and can't wait for warmer weather to finally arrive.
