Winter sucks, no matter how long you've been a Michigander. But there is one thing that can make us feel a little better about the freezing temperatures, and that's a beer. It may be cold, but it can warm you up just enough to make you forget how tired you are of shoveling snow.

And if you want the most out of it, you should join the Michigan Brewers Guild. Members enjoy the added perk of early admission to all of their festivals, gaining access one hour before the general public. For those interested in becoming a member, enrollment is available for $35 on their website. Attendees can also partake in the cherished tradition of the Michigan Great Beer State Fight Song and Welcome Toast, scheduled for approximately 3:30 pm.

And don't worry- they'll have snacks for you to enjoy. The Whitecaps concessions team will be ensuring attendees have sustenance to accompany their beer-tasting adventure.
