Check Out This Food Truck Festival For A Cause On Thursday Night
I love to chase my favorite food trucks around West Michigan. From Food Truck Fridays to all of the amazing festivals in Caulder Plaza, I'm always down to grab a bite from one of West Michigan's mobile small businesses.
But what if you could have some fun with the family, grab some great food truck bites, all while helping those who need it the most in West Michigan?
You've got your chance on Thursday night (June 22nd) from 5-8pm with the return of Ada's Food Truck Food Drive
This event being held at the Community Church in Ada (7239 Thornapple River Dr SE) will be to benefit the work of Neighbors For Neighbors whose mission includes helping those who are experiencing homelessness and financial difficulty without strings, as well as Flat River Outreach Ministries.
They encourage you to bring a donation if you plan to come out to help their cause. Some of the things they're looking for include Canned Food, low sugar cereals, Toiletries, as well as new Men's shirts, underwear, backpacks and more.
After you give for good, you can enjoy live music from Chasin The Knicks as well as a bounce house for the kiddos.
Food trucks to attend include Arcane Pizza, Pork Fat Slims BBQ, Kona Ice for the kids, and more. So, everyone can have a dinner they enjoy all in one place. Plus, Gravel Bottom Brewery will be there slinging drinks for the adults to enjoy.
You can find more details if you need them about this heartwarming event on the Ada Community Church website.
